How we check every piece
We only sell what we would be comfortable carrying ourselves. Before a piece ships, it goes through the checks below.
Canvas and print
Goyardine is printed by hand, so the Y pattern is slightly uneven and never perfectly aligned. We check the chevron spacing, the colour depth and the texture of the coating.
Stitching and edges
We look at stitch length and tension, the painted leather edges, and how the handles are attached.
Hardware
Zips, buckles and rings are checked for weight, finish and engraving.
Marks and date codes
Goyard pieces carry a stamp and a code. We confirm they are in the right place, in the right font, and match the style of piece.
Condition
We photograph wear as it is: corners, handles, interior and any scratches or odour, so there are no surprises.
